Integrative evolutionary ecology
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Biology at Indiana University.

I am an integrative evolutionary ecologist. I study how populations respond and adapt to changing environments, with an emphasis on the role of developmental plasticity.
Using a variety of experimental approaches in both vertebrate and invertebrate systems, my research combines measures of whole-organism performance with underlying physiological, genetic, and developmental mechanisms to address the following topics, often in an integrative manner:

1) The role of developmental plasticity in shaping variation in life history traits and tradeoffs.

2) Mechanisms of plastic rescue in novel or stressful environments, including anthropogenic stressors and changes in diet.

3) Developmental and evolutionary consequences of early life stress.
